Started mandarin classes today finally! It’s great to have a schedule again and things to focus on. I’m in the 1.3 level class, this is the last level of beginners and is for people who already know some things.
Everday we do 3 hours from 8 – 11:30 with a break in there somewhere. Its usually divided into two classes, something like speaking and listening, reading and writing, and then grammar or something, I’m not quite sure yet

It was good though, we’re expected to learn about 15 characters a day I think, and in the spoken classes they speak no english (i don’t think our teacher _can_ even speak english). Teachers seem pretty cool so far.
